1.Set up the Coffee Pot! I don’t program my coffee pot because I don’t always want my coffee as soon as I get up especially if I am working out. However I set it up so all I have to do is push a button.
2. Do an Evening Sweep – I learned this fabulous trick from a fellow Mom and Blogger. Link to her post here on the Evening Sweep. This ensures I wake up to a picked up house and everyone gets involved.
Note: I love this post from a fellow Mom and blogger! This post made a huge difference in my evenings and mornings.
3.I lay out my clothes which is pretty easy with my capsule wardrobe.
4. I complete a Brain Dump– I use my planner and evernote for work ( I set up my to do list for this in the morning for my blog, my goal is to have a power hour every morning.) and review the next day.
Note : Brain Dumps are great way to clear your mind before bed so you can get a goodnight’s sleep.
5. I ensure the diaper bag and snack bag is Packed – That way if we have a morning commitment I am not rushing to get everything together!
These 5 steps allow me to go to bed in peace and not waste precious morning time getting myself on track. Do you have a favorite evening routine? If you would like more tips or need personal help feel free to email me anytime.
